Friedel

ABOUT

Friedel is a neo-grotesque, monoline sans serif typeface whose generous x-height gives body and headline text a clear, open character. The starting point for Friedel’s design was a 1965 specimen of Solitaire, originally designed by John W Denzler and published by the American type foundry Visual Graphics Corporation, VGC.

Friedel is available in three weights across six styles.

The typeface is named after Murray Friedel, the inventor of the PhotoTypositor, which was manufactured and marketed by the American type foundry Visual Graphics Corporation.
