We are based in the UK, so VAT is automatically applied based on your billing address and whether you are buying as an individual or a business.
- UK-based company or individual: VAT is charged at 20%.
- EU-based company: No VAT is charged, as long as you enter a valid EU VAT number during checkout.
- EU-based individual: VAT is charged at the rate set by your country of residence.
- Customers outside Europe: No VAT is charged for individuals or companies.
You can purchase multiple styles as a pair or full family to save on licensing costs. We don’t currently offer student discounts, but students are welcome to use our Trial fonts for educational projects (subject to the Trial EULA).
All sales are final. Unfortunately, as the font files are sent upon purchase, we’re not able to make sure that copies don’t exist. If you’re unsure, it’s best to download a trial firs
Yes. You will need to include the end user or organisation’s name at checkout, so that we know who holds the license to use the font.
This site is the only place that our typefaces are available to buy or trial.
Each person or organisation that uses the font will need to purchase their own license. You can pass files to printers or developers, but only for your own projects and they must delete the fonts afterwards.
A font license is the permission to use a font in certain ways. When making a purchase through our site, you buy the right to use the font. The type of license you choose depends on how you plan to use the font.

An End User License Agreement, or EULA for short, sets out what you can and can’t do with our fonts. Buying, downloading or using a font file means you agree to it.

In your order confirmation email, you will receive the font as a OTF format. The folder will also include a EULA file and type specimen, which includes information on the character set and language support.
- On Mac: download and unzip, double-click the file, and select ‘Install Font’ to add it to Font Book.
- On Windows: download and unzip, then right-click the file and choose ‘Install’ (or ‘Install for All Users) to add it to your system fonts.
If the font doesn’t appear straight away, restart your applications or your computer. This is essential for using the font on MS Office applications, too.
A specific web license must be purchased for use on a website. This will provide you with a WOFF file, which can be hosted on your site and has been engineered specifically for web use.
The character sets differ but, as a minimum, the full Latin alphabet is included. For each typeface, you can see the full character set and supported languages on the specific product page. A PDF type specimen is also included with all Trials.
The permission to host fonts on your website. It is for the single domain (e.g. examplewebsite.com), which should be listed when you check out.

A license is for a single website URL, so each website URL will need its own license. If you have the same address on multiple top-level domains (e.g. .com and .org), you will need to purchase multiple licenses.
We ask for the website URL so we can record which site the web license applies to. Each web license is issued for a single, specific domain. If the site is not yet live, you can add the intended URL or contact us later to update this information once confirmed.
Yes, but your developer must delete the files once their work is complete.

Yes, you can outline certain characters to make vector files for logos and other print uses. Any other modifications are not permitted without a Custom Branding License Extension, which can be required using this enquiry form.
