To commemorate the opening of the V&A Dundee, Scotland’s first dedicated design museum, APFEL designed a bespoke display typeface for use within a publication about the building, as well as on merchandise and a range of other items. The design of the typeface references the exterior structure of the V&A Dundee building, designed by Kengo Kuma, which itself echoes the rocky structures of cliffs on the eastern Scottish coast.
