This typeface was developed for the identity of House of Voltaire, a pop-up shop selling artworks and objects by leading contemporary artists. The shop was established to raise funds and support for the Studio Voltaire, a South London-based non-profit arts space.

The typeface takes cues from letterforms found on painted signage and old shop windows in Mayfair, where the first House of Voltaire was held; it is used within a range of hand-painted signage contexts for the shop, as well as on printed materials and the website.
