A Practice for Everyday Life

Parle Pour Toi, or ‘Speak For Yourself’, was an exhibition of film works by Middle-Eastern artists held at Galerie Marian Goodman in Paris in 2014. Curated by Marie Muracciole, the programme of screenings was shown in three parts, each comprised of a daily looped screening of the artists’ films and culminating in a discussion or rencontre with the participating artists.

Our design for the publication to accompany the exhibition references the design of modernist theatre programmes from the mid-twentieth century. It was printed on newsprint in a nod to the informal, ephemeral nature of historic theatre and film flyers and advertisements.
