A Practice for Everyday Life

With art education and professions increasingly underfunded and underrepresented, Making a Great Exhibition demonstrates the workings of artists and other roles within museums to inspire a future generation. In the book, author Doro Globus and illustrator Rose Blake trace the life of an artwork – from the studio to the exhibition opening.

Our simple approach to the design compliments the vibrantly coloured and detailed imagery. The typographic scheme – using Alwa and GT Eesti – is highly legible for young readers, but with warmth and character that compliments the illustrations and allows them to be used at various scales, including as text annotations for readers to learn more about the objects depicted.
