This website was created in collaboration with Haroon Mirza and The Workers, to accompany and also contribute to Mirza’s exhibition, /o/o/o/o/, at Lisson Gallery in 2013. Using sound samples from the work on show, the website encourages users to create compositions using an interactive sound-board, and upload their own remixes created using Mirza’s downloadable samples. The site also features essays from writers and theorists including David Toop, Edwin Heathcote and Emma Warren, which were commissioned alongside the exhibition.
The invitation depicts an abstracted graphic which hints at the movement within Mirza’s turntable works. The design was foil debossed onto an outsized, duplexed card.
