Daria Martin’s films often question the medium itself: its artifice, ephemerality and the physical realisation of fantasy. To showcase her works, we produced a website containing a visual timeline for each film, with short extracts of footage per piece. The juxtaposition of these excerpts sitting side by side, rather than alone, encourages the viewer to view the works as a whole – and by scrolling through them, to find new connections or interpretations of the scenes. We wanted the site to function as something more than a portfolio, and to develop a narrative feel to its navigation. Click here to visit the website.
