




Dan Fink Studio is a leading New York-based interior design practice that develops exceptional residential, commercial and hospitality properties worldwide. We were commissioned to develop a new identity and website that encapsulates their interest in the harmonising of dualities – the creative and academic; tradition and innovation; the natural and man-made. This philosophy is reflected in the brand identity, which draws on both classical and modern principles to create a distinct visual language of typography and image.
The custom logotype is inspired by the calligraphic nature of early 20th-century ephemera which reveals the presence of the hand in its making. This poetic sensibility is offset by cinematic large section titles set in an almost monoline uppercase grotesk, balanced with carefully proportioned white space.
The website is designed to showcase projects and offer insight into the studio's working practice, exploring the fundamental elements of design and the importance of care in the client experience. It also features a comprehensive set of bespoke illustrations and architectural drawings, while a subtle colour palette, shifting from limestone to white, reflects the natural qualities of paper to create a more intimate digital experience.
