A Practice for Everyday Life

Published to coincide with an exhibition of works by Carmen Herrera at Lisson’s Milan gallery, this bilingual publication catalogues the drawn and painted works created by the artist between 2010–2012. We worked closely with Lisson to capture and accurately reproduce the vivid colours within these works, and set the images within a minimal asymmetric grid to reflect Herrera’s own use of space. The book is split into two sections, using heavier paper for the works and a lighter weight paper for the text, to differentiate between the content, and draw attention to the book’s materiality.
