Lee Krasner: Living Colour

Barbican Art Gallery has announced its summer exhibition for 2019, ‘Lee Krasner: Living Colour’. We have been commissioned to design the exhibition graphics, in collaboration with David Chipperfield Architects, and will also be working on the design of the accompanying publication.

‘Lee Krasner: Living Colour’ is the first retrospective of Krasner’s work to be held in Europe for over fifty years. It will explore the breadth of her pioneering, inventive practice, exhibiting almost 100 works from across Krasner’s career, including several that have never before been exhibited in the UK. The exhibition seeks to examine and celebrate the importance of Krasner’s work in her own right, as an artist whose contribution to twentieth century art transcends the significance of her marriage to Jackson Pollock.

The exhibition opens on 30 May 2019. For further information, visit the Barbican Press Room.
