Brand Identity and Printed Material
Ancient & Modern is a gallery situated on Whitecross Street, the site of one of London’s oldest street markets, close to the remains of William Blake and the site of William Caslon’s type foundry (which first opened in 1737). We used Caslon to form the gallery’s logotype. Caslon was one of the first fonts used by the Church for its publication ‘Hymns Ancient and Modern’. The Ancient & Modern gallery takes a research-based curatorial approach to the work it exhibits.

Brand Identity
The visual identity for Rob Tufnell’s gallery is adaptable for any space he takes on. He is a gallerist and curator of no fixed abode, so his stationery was designed to be pre-printed with ‘Rob Tufnell at’ and his current address is subsequently stamped on by hand.
