Art Dubai Brand Identity

Art Dubai’s ambition was to introduce fresh, modern design into their annual art fair as its reputation grew on the international market. We created a simple identity that combines elegant and minimal typography with specially commissioned photography of the Dubai emirate. Each year we collaborated with a local or international photographer to bring a fresh message and feel to the communications material, catalogue, and signage.

Art Dubai Signage

Signage

Due to the intense heat, Art Dubai was open during the day and into the night. The signage we devised comprised of a number of light boxes depicting scenes from that year's photographic campaign and the necessary directions around the site. These could then function at both times, without needing any additional lighting.
